Kalettes were developed by crossing kale and Brussels sprouts using classical, non-GMO breeding methods. Like Brussels sprouts, the plants form tall stalks bearing florets that take time to reach maturity and thus require a measure of patience. Kalettes offer early, mid, and late-maturing varieties, ranging from 110 days to 138 days.
