Similar in appearance to a parsnip but whiter and less earthy in flavor, root parsley offers a sweet, delicious alternative to more common root vegetables. Also known as Dutch parsley, Hamburg parsley, or rooted parsley, the tops of root parsley are also edible, but broader, more fibrous, and stronger in flavor than leaf parsley cultivars.
