Chamomile
Chamomile produces small, sweetly aromatic, daisy-like flowers. As a medicinal, chamomile is commonly used to make a relaxing and aromatic tea to ease gastrointestinal complaints and reduce anxiety. We offer both German and Roman chamomile. German chamomile (common chamomile) produces high yields of flowers, is an annual, and should be sown in the spring. Roman chamomile is a perennial in zones 5-8, produces fewer flowers, but is low-growing and tolerates light foot traffic, making it an excellent ground cover. Roman chamomile can be sown in the spring or the fall. Chamomile seeds require light to germinate.
