Flowers Viola (Pansy)
Classic Johnny-Jump-Up pansies growing in the field.
Viola (Pansy)
Violas, which include the group commonly known as pansies, are widely used in flower beds, containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets — especially during the cooler months, though some will bloom all season long. Not only do violas make a good bedding plant, the blossoms are edible — their delicate, wintergreen flavor is wonderful when used as a colorful garnish on salads and desserts. Johnny's offers mainly annual varieties, but our perennial variety is the true Johnny-Jump-Up, a naturalizing plant that attracts and sustains beneficial insects.
